Review intake conditions ↓
01 / Scope of assistance

What this channel is for

GCHRV provides an initial channel for general inquiries and direction to publicly available services. It does not replace qualified legal counsel, victim assistance organizations, law enforcement, or emergency responders.

01 / RESOURCES

Resource assistance

Ask where to find official or specialized human rights and support resources.

02 / CASE QUESTIONS

Existing case inquiries

Request general research-related information without submitting legal files or protected records.

03 / VERIFICATION

Preliminary research inquiries

Identify a public-interest question that may warrant review of lawfully accessible information.

Immediate danger or trafficking concerns?

If you are in immediate danger in the United States, call 911. For specialized trafficking support, call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text 233733. For public education, visit DHS Blue Campaign. GCHRV is not affiliated with these organizations.

Confidentiality and data protection

Preliminary inquiries only

Please provide only a short, non-sensitive description and general location. Do not include names of victims or witnesses, confidential testimony, ID numbers, medical records, case files, passwords, exact addresses, or evidence attachments.

Limits of confidentiality

Ordinary website forms and email are not guaranteed anonymous or absolutely confidential. Hosting and communications services may process information; legal disclosure requirements may apply. GCHRV does not promise legal privilege or guaranteed protection from disclosure.

Consent and the right to decline

Before submission, you will be asked to confirm that you understand the limits of this channel. Do not use this form if you cannot safely communicate or accept those limitations.

No automatic case acceptance

Submitting a request does not guarantee a response, investigation, legal advice, legal representation, referral, or acceptance of any case. Decisions depend on the nature of the request and available capacity.

03 / Proposed inquiry workflow

How an inquiry may be handled

01
Initial submission

A short inquiry describing the general type of assistance requested.

02
Risk and scope screening

Review for urgency, potential harm, relevant scope, and whether external specialist resources are better suited.

03
Possible resource guidance

Where appropriate and feasible, provide general information about relevant public resources.

04
Separate investigation decision

Only a separately documented acceptance and risk review could open a formal research case. This preliminary form does not initiate one.

04 / Submission terms

Required acknowledgements

The WPForms submission must require separate, unchecked acknowledgements that the requester has reviewed the Confidentiality Notice and Privacy Notice; understands this is not an emergency or secure evidence channel; and understands there is no guaranteed assistance or investigation.

Important: These conditions must also be configured as required fields inside WPForms 166, not just displayed here. Review storage, notifications, access permissions and retention before receiving real inquiries.

GCHRV Online Inquiry Form

Submit only a brief, non-sensitive preliminary inquiry. Do not attach evidence or include identifying details about victims or witnesses.

GCHRV / Level I — Public Preliminary Intake

Information Protection Notice

You are about to submit non-sensitive preliminary information to the Global Center for Human Rights Verification (GCHRV).

This form is only for initial inquiries, general resource assistance, and preliminary research or verification questions. It is not a confidential evidence-submission channel, an emergency service, or a means of opening a formal investigation.

Do not submit sensitive information. Do not enter witness or victim names, confidential testimony, identity documents, medical information, exact locations of vulnerable individuals, passwords, or evidence. File uploads are not accepted.

How information is handled at this stage

Form submissions may be processed by the website, its hosting infrastructure, configured storage, email services, and backups. Access, retention, and deletion depend on the systems actually enabled. Do not assume that information is stored only on one local server or that a submitted response is immediately deleted.

HTTPS protects information while traveling between your browser and the website when the secure connection is valid. This is not end-to-end encryption. Confidentiality, anonymity, and protection from legally required disclosure cannot be guaranteed.

Future protected communications — Level II

For inquiries that may require sensitive information, GCHRV intends to establish a separate, access-controlled communication and case-management process. That system is not yet available through this public form. No automatic transfer to a protected channel occurs when this form is submitted.

Before continuing

  • Submit only a brief, non-sensitive inquiry.
  • Do not use this form in an emergency or if contacting GCHRV could put someone at risk.
  • Submitting does not guarantee a response, referral, case acceptance, legal advice, or investigation.
  • You must separately acknowledge these conditions in the form before submitting.
